Shipping policy

Lids4Kids volunteers work 1-2 days per week on a regular roster to send out new orders. Your order should be processed and shipped within 7-14 business days. We appreciate your understanding that volunteers may sometimes be unavailable and unexpected delays may occur. We will attempt to notify you if any significant delays occur with your order.

Shipping costs are calculated using Australia Post pricing structures. We ship within Australia only. If you require international shipping please email sales@lids4kids.org.au

Shipping rates are set using Australia Post Flat Shipping rates and will be added to your cart before checkout (excluding ZWW bags which have shipping included). We encourage you to place larger orders to take full advantage of flat rate shipping options rather than making several purchases. ZWW bags are often sent separately to other items you may purchase. Please allow 3-5 business days for your second parcel to arrive if you do you receive your full order. If your order has not arrived by that time please contact us at sales@lids4kids.org.au 

Free local pick up for all orders is available from our Hub at 141 Canberra Avenue Fyshwick ACT during opening hours, Monday - Saturday 10am-2pm. 


Subscription and Donation services will be prepared for shipping/delivery 10 days after your initial purchase to accommodate the mandatory 10 day cooling off period. If you wish to expedite delivery of your service you can email sales@lids4kids.org.au. If you have signed up for an auto renew or subscription service your replacement bag will be sent to you as soon as we receive your full bag, there's no need for you to do anything else.

Unless otherwise stated, ZWW bags includes all shipping, including return shipping. In some cases extra fees may be charged by Australia Post for remote areas.  Your bag will arrive with the prepaid return label already in place in the outer pocket of the bag. Please do not discard this label otherwise you will incur extra shipping costs.

To return your ZWW Bag once full, close the zipper fully and secure it using the provided fastening. You can then place the bag in an Australia Post post box or hand it in at your nearest Post Office. These bags have been tested in the Australia Post system and ship safely with no extra wrappers or covers required.

Delivery of Wheelie Bins and Benches in the ACT and Surrounds are subject to volunteer availability. We will endeavour to deliver these items within stated timeframes however we appreciate your understanding that volunteers may sometimes be unavailable and unexpected delays may occur. We will attempt to notify you if any significant delays occur with your order.
