Zero Waste Warriors Swap&Go Recycling Program (ACT region only)

Become a Lids4Kids Australia member today and help us to protect our environment and prevent dozens of everyday household items from needlessly ending up in landfill

Lids4Kids membership is still just $29 per year and includes a Zero Waste Warrior (ZWW) Swap&Go recycling tub with unlimited FREE exchanges at 40+ Swap&Go locations across the ACT region

All the items listed on our ZWW recycling tub sticker are completely recyclable but can NOT go into your yellow-lid kerbside recycling bin due to their size or material composition

How it Works

1. Subscribe: Become a Lids4Kids Australia member via the annual subscription link below
2. Collect: Use your receipt to collect your first tub from any of our 40+ Swap&Go locations
3. Rescue: Fill your tub with dozens of everyday eligible recyclable items from home, school or work
4. Exchange: Take your full ZWW tub to any of our Swap&Go locations and collect an empty ZWW tub
5. Repeat: Keep filling up and exchanging your ZWW tub as many times as you like for 12 months
6. Close the loop: Visit our HUB to buy one of our locally made sustainable recycled plastic products
7. Get Hands On: You can volunteer at our HUB anytime to help us sort, recycle and make products
8. Promote: Share our QR code with your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues, so they can use our non-profit recycling services
9. Renew: Your annual Lids4Kids membership is due for renewal on the anniversary of the date you first joined. If you subscribe using the link below, your annual membership will automatically renew. You can also renew your annual membership manually here
10. Easy Opt Out: You can return your ZWW tub in person anytime at any one of our Swap&Go locations. Simply leave a note inside your tub with your contact details explaining that you no longer wish to recycle with our non-profit service and we'll remove you from our membership list. If you have setup an automatic subscription renewal, you can cancel this online and return your tub to Lids4Kids.

If you don’t want to sign-up online, you can join at our Community Recycling & Education Centre (HUB)

Visit our HUB at 141 Canberra Avenue, Fyshwick ACT
OPEN 10am-5pm weekdays & 10am-2pm weekends

Thank you for your support!

As a grass-roots, volunteer-run, not-for-profit charity with zero government funding, your Lids4Kids membership is very important to us. Regardless of where you live in Australia (or worldwide), your annual membership and being an active part of our awesome community, you will continue to help us to:

• recycle hundreds of millions of small plastic bottle lids into sustainable recycled plastic products
• prevent dozens of small everyday household items (that can't go in your regular yellow-lid kerbside recycling bin) from needlessly ending up in landfill or our environment
• support community recycling education, provide social inclusion and assist disability support services
• deliver our sustainable schools program to students across the ACT region
• provide employment opportunities for young people living with a disability; and
• cover essential costs like rent, public liability insurance and recycling equipment so we can keep our non-profit recycling services operational
